Wessler submitted her kitchen for consideration to the Look Up AmericaTM contest. Wessler, 41, is a multimedia project manager at a software company in the Raleigh area. Wessler and her boyfriend bought their 1934 classic bungalow in downtown Raleigh three years ago. With a love for all things vintage, Wessler spends a lot of time undertaking DIY projects. She’s currently in the process of remodeling her kitchen to restore its bungalow feel – which is where the ceiling comes into play!

"I'm so excited to be named the winner of the Look Up America ceiling contest," Wessler said. "The new ceiling will be the focal point of our classic kitchen, which we've worked really hard to restore."
